The machinery of the Felinae Empire requires constant maintenance by devoted engineers. They risk life and limb to keep the machines running through smoke, soot, and oil.
Utilising a rubbish bin and a particularly plain wall, I show off my composition skills by conquering the daemons of reflection & anisotropy and insert an aluminium can into the scene.
A Ca' Foscari University joint project between a group of students researching in the fields of Nanotechnology, Sustainability and Environment departments goes awry when their test plant – a new mangrove species spliced together from multiple Rhizophoraceae species – reacts more strongly than anticipated to their compound and grows at unprecedented speeds.
Three weeks later the growth has slowed. San Marco, San Polo and Cannaregio Districts have been evacuated as the roots continue to weaken the foundations of the city.
