BIO
I was born in Sydney, Australia before moving down the coast to a little town called Berry. In the mid-nineties my immediate family moved to the United States where we stayed for four years, heavily influencing my taste in music. After returning to Australia I finished High School and moved to Canberra, where I acquired a scholarship to attend the Australian National University. A Little over four years later I walked out holding a Bachelors -with Honours - and stepped out into the big world.
Since then I have been officially published six times, and have co illustrated without credit twice (it's a long story). I currently develop games as part of Games Plus; a games development community set up by the Academy of Interactive Entertainment. I have modeled, rigged and animated characters for games produced by SmashByte Studios: namely Destructonaut which was released earlier this year, and Snow Mercy which is still in development.
I am a lover of classical comedy, from Albert and Costello through to Monty Python and the Goon Show. This represents itself in my quirky sense of humour and love of comic timing within my work. Despite this, I am capable of taking my work seriously and know how to knuckle down to get things done. In a group environment I strive to motivate my team and while I have taken the lead many times, I'm more than able to take orders as well as give them.
I like interesting artworks, things that someone hasn't really explored before; be it a new medium, new style, or new subject matter. The advances in science and technology have led to some fantastic things that we - as artists - have barely begun to scratch the surface of. I look forward to a future of invention and innovation both within the artmaking world and without.
Here's to the future.
